THE T SQUASH CENTER, an exciting new
5 court Squash Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio is now hiring its second
full time teaching professional.
We are dedicated to the mission of forming the character of young
people through an intense engagement with Squash. Our model will
promote the broad growth of the game through school based programming
at the Grade School and High School Levels, and will stress excellence
in sport, academics and personal character, each in equal parts.
We will develop a pilot program, whereby inner city schools will
participate in our inter-school league composed of teams from the
city’s leading private and public schools. In this way, we hope
to build bridges of understanding in our community through focused
participation in a common sport. We also hope to make available
life-changing opportunities for personal growth to several under
privileged children each year.
Our facility includes five (5) singles squash courts, a study hall for
junior players, a core agility studio, a cardio area, locker rooms and
a bar / lounge for parents. We offer a great working environment,
a unique approach to growing the game, and a competitive compensation
package (retainer, percentage of lesson revenue, and health benefits).
This position will aid in the growth and expansion of our successful
Junior Squash program established in 2009. The position will
oversee the development of team based squash programming for middle
school and high school teams in our city, as well as to work with our
tournament level junior players. Coaching duties will focus on
clinics and private lessons, overseeing match play formats, running
tournaments and camps and encouraging participation in Squash at all
levels, including the parents of our kids.
Applicants
should have:
· At least two years coaching experience
with experience coaching all levels of Squash players
· A genuine passion to teach the game,
shape the character and reinforce the academic growth of young players
· A collegiate playing background is
preferred
· Strong leadership and communication
skills
· Strong organizational skills and
computer skills
· Good presentation and salesmanship to
help grow a classroom of Squash learners
· A desire to strengthen America one
child at a time
