No 2 Trinity Dominates Stanford in Howe Opener

February 21, 2014 - Princeton, N.J. - All nine Bantams posted 3-0 victories, as the Trinity College women's squash team earned a 9-0 shutout against the Stanford University Cardinal in the quarterfinal round of the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships (Howe Cup) this afternoon at Princeton University's Jadwin Courts. No. 2-seeded Trinity improves to 14-1 with its third win in a row and advances to the semifinals tomorrow against either No. 3-seeded Pennsylvania or No. 6-seeded Cornell. The Cardinal falls to 6-7 and will play the loser of the Penn/Cornell match in a consolation match tomorrow. Trinity sophomore No. 1 Kanzy El Defrawy (Cairo, Egypt) was particularly dominant with an 11-0, 11-2, 11-0 victory.
