The prestigious New York Athletic Club,
one of the world’s premier clubs, established in 1868, and located on
Central Park South in Manhattan is seeking a full-time and part-time
Squash Pro.
The candidate for this position will support the Head Squash
Professional in the running of all programs, lessons, and squash
related events, but not limited to:
Teaching private and group lessons. Reserve squash courts. Properly charge members and guests for lessons rendered. Enforce Club’s rules and regulations governing the use of the club facilities; its equipment and property. String racquets and equipment sales. Give lessons to all groups and levels of players. Assist in making strategic decisions. Partner matching. Answering and screening all incoming phone calls and take detailed messages. Assist in any administrative tasks to help run an effective Squash department. Organize and/or attend Squash tournaments Coach Jr. Squash programs. Maintain the Squash courts in good condition.
Candidate must demonstrate a high level of playing and coaching ability, highly motivated.
Have excellent organization skills, strong work ethic, and basic
computer skills. Must have the legal right to work and remain in
the United States.
