Head Men’s and Women’s Squash Coach, Dickinson College
Coordinate all phases
of a new intercollegiate squash program for men and women to begin
intercollegiate play in the winter of 2014. In addition, there is an
expectation of teaching Squash to Dickinson students within the
required Physical Education program and of offering introductory Squash
clinics to members of the Dickinson community.
Duties may include:
Teaching relevant skill, tactics and techniques Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing encouragement and constructive feedback Organizing and scheduling practices sessions Developing training and conditioning programs Coordinating the development and promotion of team competition Cleanliness and safety of squash courts Recruiting Providing professional public relations by representing Dickinson College and the Squash Team in a professional manner Correspondence Travel schedule
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and
College (or equivalent) playing and coaching experience required. Must
have the ability to coach and recruit within the philosophy of NCAA III
and a highly selective liberal arts institution. Strong organizational,
interpersonal and effective communication skills with athletes and
other constituencies are expected.
