Handouts On the Board First in Black Knight Fiction Match 2 from DailySquashReport.com
March 5, 2014
- The Handouts struck first in squash fiction play Monday, as Steve
Hufford's 'Tired Eyes' pulled out a 2-1 win on the judges' cards.
'Tired Eyes' defeated
the entertaining chapter 'Kate' from Tin Ringers' lead-off-man Roland
Jacopetti, and thereby becomes the official Chapter Two in the ongoing
collaborative novel East Side.
Thus far (at least) the storyline involves a longtime New York City pro and a club being sold out from under him to a developer.
The competing chapter
two's were in stark contrast to each other, both in substance and form.
Hufford admitted that only upon reading his opponent's effort did he
realize he'd included no dialogue whatsoever in his.
Digging in for chapter three action are David Smith (Tin Ringers) and Will Gens (Handouts).
After one round of play, it's The Handouts 1, The Tin Ringers 0.
Scoring is one game, winner-take-all, under PAR-11.
