PST's McManus On Albany Match Conduct Penalty from DailySquashReport.com
April 15, 2012
"Our rules are the same as the WSF with regard to conduct penalties.
"In most situations a referee will advance from "warning" to "point" to "game" to "match". However, it is not necessary to do so based on the degree of the offense. It is within a referee's discretion to go straight to a game or match penalty.
"John's language did deserve a penalty. It was a rare misstep for our tour's most charismatic and popular player. I am sure he regrets the moment.
"PST is very strict with player behavior. And we do not relax our standards regardless of the player."
