WDSA Women Head To Vero Beach For 1st Annual $25K John's Island Open

April 17, 2013 - After a fantastic and eventful weekend in New York City for the NetJets World Doubles Championships, the WDSA women now head down the east coast to beautiful Vero Beach for the 1st Annual $25,000 John's Island Open sponsored by John's Island Real Estate.
Play begins Thursday 6pm with World Doubles Gold Medalist Amanda Sobhy and partner Latasha Khan taking on Kat Grant and Alex Clark in the opening qualification match. Main draw begins Friday at 10am featuring Number 1 Seeds Suzie Pierrepont and World Mixed Doubles Champion Narelle Krizek playing Victoria Simmonds and Ivy Pochoda.
