SQUASHTV HITS 20 Million YouTube Views from PSA Media
31ST MAR 2015
- SQUASHTV, the Professional Squash Association’s (PSA) on-line
television channel, has today passed the twenty million views mark on
YouTube.
The only place where squash fans can watch the latest match highlights,
best shots, event round-ups and interviews with the stars of the PSA
World Tour, SQUASHTV’s YouTube channel has reached the milestone figure
just days after England’s Nick Matthew won his third consecutive PSA
World Tour title at the 2015 Canary Wharf Classic.
With the channel currently registering over one million views per month
and the breath-taking action set to continue next week with the 2015 El
Gouna Classic, 2015 looks certain to be a strong year for the sport’s
social media presence.
“YouTube has become an integral part of the sports media landscape and
a medium that we have worked hard at developing over the past few
years,” said PSA PR & Communications Manager Nathan Clarke.
“To see such a strong response from squash fans is hugely encouraging
and hopefully we can build on this impressive success over the coming
months as we continue to develop the brand’s identity across all social
media channels.”
