Tuxedo Park, NY (April 19, 2013) - The Bottini Fuel World Open main draw began Friday at the headquarters of LiveTechnology in Tuxedo Park, NY. Top seeds took care of business and
advanced to the quarter finals, which begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday
morning. All matches in this week's tournament are being streamed live
on ProSquashTV.com. "This is a unique event," said PST
Commissioner Joe McManus. "Anyone could put their name in the hat. And
the prize is an automatic bid into the PST World Championship in
Detroit in May." "We're going to have a great weekend of squash," continued McManus. "The community here in Tuxedo is so
supportive and in love with the game. The players feed off that energy
and love coming here." With all the great squash, McManus said the highlight of his night was StreetSquash Newark coming to the tournament. "Those kids were great. So nice. So excited about the game." "The guys love helping and teaching," said
McManus. "And those kids from Street Squash Newark were wonderful. They
were sitting in the front row mesmerized by the action. Whenever we can
do something to help inspire the next generation, we want to help."
