StreetSquash Raises Over $750,000 from 550+ donors at 5th Annual StreetSquash Cup

May 15, 2013 - We are delighted to announce that the Fifth Annual StreetSquash Cup, concluded on Saturday, May 11th, has raised over $750,000. The StreetSquash Cup, an all day squash tournament held at the SL Green StreetSquash Center on 115th Street, hosted ten teams and many of the top amateur and professional players from around the world.
Proceeds from the event support the important work of StreetSquash, ensuring that we can continue to help more than 500 Harlem youth each year through in-depth tutoring, mentoring, alumni outreach, college preparation and squash programs.
The StreetSquash Cup team leaders, participants, and squash stars have time and again proven their dedication to our cause. The 2013 Cup clearly stands out as one of the most successful and enthusiastic endorsements of urban squash to date, an effort which will sustain StreetSquash's impact on the lives of our children and families in the year ahead.
We hope you will continue to stay involved and engaged through the summer months and we hope to see you soon at the StreetSquash Center... Perhaps even as a participant or team captain for next year's StreetSquash Cup!
