Khalid Atlas Khan Wins Massachusetts 5.5 State Singles from squash media May 15, 2022
- Pakistan’s Khalid Atlas Khan won the 5.5 MA Squash Singles Championships
(New England Regional Championship) in Massachusetts, USA on April 25th.
Khalid defeated Mark Froot of Boston in the final to claim the title of
this event in which 26 players from different states participated.
In the round of the 32 Khan defeated Hudson Poirier from Wellesley 6, 3, 5 and then beat Anuj Bhagwati from Belmont 7, 4, 1.
In the quarterfinals, it was Khalid over Eric Lamsa from Boston 3, 2, 4
and then 5, 5, 2 over Jacob Shulman from Needham in the semis.
Khan is a former national player from Pakistan and currently he is Head Squash Coach at a Lifetime Athletic Club in MA.
He is also ASF Level-II, WSF Level-1 Qualified Coach and a WSF & ASF Level-1 Qualified Tutor.
