Sam Cornett Checks In From The O2 Arena

May 16, 2012 - Following an excellent run through the British Open qualifying, which culminated in a solid first round performance in a losing effort against fourth-seed Madeline Perry of Ireland, Sam Cornett sent this report to DSR:
I just got into London today and saw the court at the O2 for the first time. The court looks unbelievably small in such a huge venue!
The set up around it is so nice, and there were lots of people out to watch this evening. And the restaurants in the O2 complex are lovely, so I think everyone can make a nice night out of a trip to watch the squash!
I'm looking forward to watching over the next few days, as there have already been a few upsets in the women's draw, which makes the next rounds so exciting!
