Seeds Safely Through In Guatemala by Howard Harding

- New Zealand favourite Martin Knight led all four seeds safely through
the first round of the Internacional Sporta Open, the PSA World Tour
Challenger 15 squash event in its fifth year at the Sporta club in
Guatemala City, Guatemala.
The world No43 from
Auckland beat English qualifier Nathan Lake 11-4, 11-4, 11-9 and will
now face Peter Creed for a place in the semi-finals.
Welsh champion Creed is used to playing Kiwis after ousting New Zealand qualifier Evan Williams 11-7, 5-11, 11-2, 11-4.
An all-New Zealand
final is predicted - and second seed Campbell Grayson, also from
Auckland, successfully made the last eight after beating Mexico's Erik
Tepos Valtierra 11-4, 11-3, 11-6.
