With One Year In The Books, Many To Thank by Ted Gross, publisher
May 1, 2012
Cranking
out a daily online squash newspaper for the past 365 days that is
hopefully relevant and entertaining has been a lot of work, I'll say it
upfront.
But it has been immensely rewarding.
Thanks first to contributing editor Rob Dinerman - I wouldn't do this with anyone else.
Thanks to John Musto, Guy Cipriano, Joyce Davenport, Hunt Richardson
and Jack Herrick for their suggestions and input from day one.
Thanks to contributors Brett Erasmus, Will Gens, Mick Joint, The
Squashist, Tracy J. Gates and Bob Hanscom for their highly entertaining
writing.
Thanks to the US Squash staff, and to Squash Canada's Danny Da Costa.
Thanks to US national coaches Jack Wyant, Natalie Grainger, Paul
Assaiante and Chris Walker for making sure we've always gotten the
reports we've needed.
Similar thanks to Canadian national coaches Yvon Provencal and Jessica DiMauro.
Thanks to the hard-working Michael and Anne Bello of the CSA.
Thanks to sponsors Dave Foley of Foley Squash Shop, David Carr of
McWil Courtwall, Bob Morgan of Black Knight, Dana Thayer of
Chelsea Piers, Pamela Saunders of Elm City Squash and Stuart le Gassick.
Thanks to Steve Cubbins of SquashsiteUK for his generosity and brilliant live coverage of the major events.
Special thanks to Bryan Patterson for his 34 consecutive days of
engaging reports from campgrounds across the US, while leading last
summer's CitySquash coast-to-coast bicycle ride.
And finally, thank you to the great Howard Harding - Howard, I said it
in the beginning, and I'll say it again: You are the straw that stirs
the drink.
