- Germany's Jens Schoor picked up his second PSA World Tour squash
title in Switzerland when he upset top seed Kristian Frost Olesen in
the final of the Inno Wood Open, the PSA Challenger 5 event at
Sportpark Pilatus in Kriens. Both players reached the final without dropping games – and shared the first two in the play-off for the title. But it was second seed
Schoor, the World No.86 from Worms, who had the upper hand thereafter –
going on to defeat Denmark's World No.60 11-6, 6-11, 12-10, 11-8 to win
his first Tour title of the year, but the seventh of his career. "Jens, seeded second,
played really strong and went for his shots and got them in," explained
tournament promoter Mario Tschopp (pictured below, left, with the
finalists). "He was making Kristian run a lot and was almost all
the time in control of the game. "In a few days, he will be back for the PSA Challenger 10 event at the same place where he is seeded fourth."
