Club Atwater, a private racquets and social club located in Montreal, Canada is seeking an experienced Squash Professional to head up our growing Squash program.
The successful candidate should be a highly organized individual with excellent teaching, communication and motivational skills. The position commences July 1, 2012.
Primary responsibility will be to focus on helping to grow the Club's squash membership by increasing participation in the junior program, hosting both local and national squash tournaments and by organizing social activities, house leagues and providing instruction to members through private lessons and group clinics. The ideal candidate will be able to interact and work on a daily basis with a motivated management team and a membership squash committee in order to evaluate squash specific programs aimed at both increasing participation by existing members and attracting new ones. Competitive experience at the National level and spoken French are both assets.
Founded in 1926, Club Atwater is ideally located in downtown Montreal and has 5 International squash courts and 2 North American Doubles courts. The Club also offers a range of social and other fitness options, including: 5 badminton courts, a pro-shop, a pub room, a paddle-tennis court, aerobics, as well as conference, meeting and dining rooms.
