David Palmer, Peter Nicol To Square Off In Belgium Legends Final Today

May 27, 2012 - Top-seeded David Palmer beat Simon Parke in three games, and Peter Nicol overcame Martin Heath in four as the two advanced to the championship match of the Namur Legends event in southern Belgium.
In Friday's first round, Heath got past John White 11-8 in the fifth; Nicol beat Tim Garner in four; Parke beat Lee Beachill (a late replacement for the injured Jonathon Power) in five; and Palmer took care of Derek Ryan in three.
The Namur event marks the first Legends tour stop in 2012. Four tournaments were held last fall, three in the UK and one in Baltimore.
