Fitness and Squash Center Manager position available at The Yale Club of New York City
Position Description Summary:
1. The Fitness and
Squash Center Manager is responsible for the overall operations and
programming of the Yale Club Fitness and Squash Center with primary
oversight of the operating standards, systems, and practices.
2. The Fitness and
Squash Center Manager will directly supervise: squash pros, locker room
supervisors and staff, fitness floor staff, squash staff, group
exercise contractors, massage therapist contractors, and personal
training contractors.
3.The Fitness and
Squash Center Manager must be passionate, knowledgeable, and
experienced in squash. Must have previous squash
professional/instructional experience. Must have experience running
tournaments, managing squash facilities and programming.
4. Position includes opportunities for additional income through squash lessons, clinics, camps, etc.
Work Experience
1. Minimum of three years’ experience in similar department or head role.
2. Minimum seven years’ experience in the club and/or fitness/squash industry.
Education
1. College Degree (health, fitness, sports management or related field) preferable.
Certification/License/Other
1. Certification in CPR/AED
