Sweden Education Minister Visits StreetSquash, Looks to Establish First European Urban Program from DailySquashReport June 10, 2016
- On Wednesday morning Gustav Fridolin, second from right, Sweden’s
Minister of Education, visited the StreetSquash Harlem facility on
115th Street, to learn about the Urban Squash program, with a view
towards possibly establishing a counterpart organization in Sweden. He
is accompanied in this photo by George Polsky (far right), the
Executive Director of StreetSquash Harlem, Swedish-born squash stars
Anders Wahlstedt (yellow tie) and Johan Detter, and a current
StreetSquash student.
A StreetSquash/CitySquash program in Sweden would be the first in Europe.
