Job Opening: Assistant Pro, Philadelphia Squash Club

The Club is located in picturesque
Chestnut Hill near the Wissahicken Park and is attached to the
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, hosting 10 international singles
courts in two facilities. The Club has been recently updated and
reorganized, combining school team and individual Club player coaching.
The Assistant Professional will work closely with the other Pros and
administrators in implementing player coaching, assisting in running
teams, leagues, adult activities and junior tournaments as well as
administrative responsibilities racquet restringing and Pro Shop
activities. A driver’s license is needed and must be legally able to
work in the USA.
The successful applicant will need to have good organizational skills
including computer use, be self-motivated, able to motivate others,
especially junior players, and have great interpersonal skills. S/he
will need to be a good squash player and able to coach individuals
through the long term programs. An enthusiastic, adaptable, energetic
and team oriented persona will fit in well. We are looking for a young
player / coach who works well with junior players, is willing to learn
on the job and will fit in with the current environment.
The position offers a basic monthly wage plus a generous portion of
lesson fees, commensurate with experience. To start around September
1st.
