- The 11th-seeded US Men's Team lost 2-1 to 16th-seeded Scotland today
in the back draw of the 2013 World Teams in Mulhouse, France.
Chris Gordon at #1 turned in a competitive 78-minute effort but fell to world #30 Alan Clyne 11-7 in the fifth.
Retired US Pro Gilly Lane continued his strong play in the #2 slot, beating world #90 Greg Lobban in four.
US #3 Dylan Murray then lost in a competitive three to 20-year-old world #161 Douglas Kempsell.
The Americans will wrap things up with a Saturday match against Canada for 11th place.
