June 15, 2012
- The quarter-finals of the South Australia Open in Adelaide saw the
demise of the second seeds in the men's and women's events.
England's Tom Pashley put paid to Kiwi Kashif Shuja's hopes of
retaining his title, and now faces man of the moment Mike Corren, who
is aiming for five PSA titles in a row.
The other semi-final is also an Anglo-Aussie affair, with top seed Rex Hedrick meeting Lewis Walters.
In the women's draw Samantha Davies beat second seed Milou Van Der
Heijden in straight games and now meets fellow-Aussie Tamika Saxby for
a place in the final, while top seed Amanda Landers-Murphy faces an
all-New Zealand clash with Megan Craig, who ousted third seed Sarah
Cardwell in straight games.
