Awards Nights at StreetSquash Highlight a Year of Achievement from Sq Media
June 20, 2012
- Each year in June we celebrate our middle school, high school, and
graduating seniors with awards and memorable speeches from students,
staff, and parents.
The night provides the opportunity for parents and teammates to look
back on the extremely difficult commitment that all members of
StreetSquash undergo throughout the entire school year.
Attendance, Squash Improvement, Squash Achievement, Academic
Improvement, Academic Achievement, Leadership, Sportsmanship, and
College Preparation, are some of the accomplishments which we are proud
to acknowledge from our students.
The most prestigious award however, is the StreetSquasher of the Year,
given to one individual in each class who represents success,
commitment, and leadership in all of academics, squash, and community
service.
This year's winners were Danny Cabrera ('12), Anthony Little ('13),
Divine Wing ('14), Javaughn Miller ('15), Igor Ramirez ('16), Richard
Fagan ('17), and Benjamin Matos ('18).
We are extremely proud of all of our students, and look forward to
their continued success at StreetSquash and beyond.
