Elshorbagy Over Delierre To Take Guatemala Title by Nathan Clarke June 2, 2014
- Egyptian Marwan Elshorbagy claimed his first tournament title of 2014
and his fourth career title to date after beating Canada's Shawn
Delierre in the final of the VII Torneo Internacional Sporta in
Guatemala.
The 20-year-old World
No.20 saw off Delierre, the World No.74, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7 to end his
tournament in empathic fashion, cruising to victory while dropping just
game throughout the entire tournament.
"I'm happy to win my fourth PSA title here in Guatemala," said Elshorbagy.
"It's been a great week and a great season and thanks to everyone for the support."
