Team Canada Coach Jonathan Hill From Qatar On The US-Canada Match
July 18, 2012
"The first match began a little rough with
both players a little nervous and tired from their previous
matches. Devon jumped ahead 2-0, with Zach fighting back to tie
the match at 2-2. A tough 5th game by both players with Devin
taking the 5th. Next up was Dylan and Cameron, the nu Eric 1
players. Both showed some great athleticism, with Dylan getting a
little tired in the 5th allowing Cam to equalize the match up at 1-1.
"Tyler Olson saved his best squash for his
final match, which just happened to be the match to break the
tie. His short game was laser perfect and he was relentless with
his retrieving of Edward's shots to the front.
"I am extremely proud of our team, placing 7th in this very tough teams tournament."
