Arroyo Seco Racquet Club squash teaching professional, Tom Williams won
the men's Open division at the San Diego Summer Surf City adult squash
championships this past weekend. And...12 year-old junior squash-player
Milo Friedman won the men's 4.0 division, placing fifth in the Open
division. Tom grew up in Scotland and began playing squash at
Gordonstoun School in a very well-established junior program. He
trained and competed with some of Scotland’s top squash players in
junior tournaments, captaining his school team in the Highlands &
Islands Premier League. In 2012, (after playing college squash for one
year in England), he moved to Los Angeles. Now coaching at the Arroyo
Seco Racquet Club in South Pasadena, he looks forward to growing the
amazing game of squash, introducing it to new players of all ages and
coaching a number of Southern California’s top junior players. Milo
Friedman, representing the Arroyo Seco Racquet Club, is the #1 ranked
boys under 13 junior squash-player in Southern California. He'll be
playing three big and important tournaments before he turns 13,
when he ages up to the boys under 15's on September 25th. He'll be
playing the Arroyo Seco Racquet Club's August 24-26 Feather Racket
Sports silver event, the September 14th Cincinnati JCT's and the
September 21st San Francisco 2018 Oracle Netsuite Gold event. Good luck
to Milo in his final three boys under 13 junior squash tournaments!
