Complimentary Beginners Clinic
I will be holding a complimentary beginners squash clinic on Sunday from 1pm-2pm if you are interested in developing your game or are new to the sport. I will go over the basic technique and strategy so you will finish the session ready to take on other players of similar ability. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. Look out for more complimentary clinics for all levels of player over the next few months.
 
Friday July 13th - Club Championships Celebration
We have not yet celebrated or crowned our club champions. Friday July 13th we will supply beer and refreshments, watch the last final of the tournament, the newly married Alastair Hood vs Kaapil Pundir and hold the award ceremony! Every squash player is invited to attend, and especially if you participated in the event. There is also a tournament take-away for every player. Please book this date in your diary now and I hope to see you next Friday.
 
 Saturday July 21st - Battle of the City
The University Club and Olympic Club have thrown down the gauntlet and challenged us to a Battle of the City to crown the San Francisco Club Champions. I am looking for 10 players to represent our club. The team must comprise 3A, 3B,  2C, 2D amongst these, at least  1 woman, 1 junior. An A player must be 5.5 or above, B player 4.0-5.0, C 3.0-4.0, D2.0-3.0, The event will be Saturday July 21st from 11am-4pm and snacks and drinks will be provided. The University Club will be hosting the event and is asking $20 per player to cover the costs. Please let me know if you are interested in participating.
 
Box League
The box league will resume from July 14th. Please let me know if you would like to continue to participate, if you would like to be removed or if you would like to join in. This is complimentary to all US Squash members and just $10 per cycle if you are not a member. Any questions regarding the box league, please ask.
