Colony Ford Lincoln NSA Open To Kick Off Monday In Toronto from NS Media

- The 2nd annual $5,000 Professional Squash Association NSA Open is
back with special thanks to Colony Ford Lincoln as our title sponsor
for the event. The tournament will showcase up and coming
Canadian talent and is an important part of the rebuilding of Canada as
a world squash power as we look to host more and more domestic events
that best support our national team athletes.
The week will be a celebration of squash in Toronto, as from August
17-19th we will also be hosting the BDO North American Junior Open,
with 150 juniors form all over the world descending on the NSA. The
2012 Colony Ford NSA Open draw will be released in the next week and
features the following top players:
#1 Dane Sharp (CAN) – WR 97 and defending champion #2 Scott Arnold (AUS) – WR 99 and former top 60, based in Toronto #3 Dave Letourneau (CAN) – WR 112 and one of the fastest risers on the tour #4 Declan James (ENG) – WR 128 returning after coming through qualifying last year
In addition, the draw
is full of hometown favorites to cheer on - #5 Matt Serediak, #6
Adrian Dudzicki, #7 Tyler Hamilton, #9 Mike McCue and #11 top Bermudian
based out of the NSA Micah Franklin. Lurking in the qualifying
will be the likes of former world #85 Andrew McDougall on the comeback
trail and unranked 2011 NCAA champion and multi-time Canadian junior
champion Colin West who will be sure to provide some drama right from
the qualifying round.
