Description
Our EA Elite Day Program program is designed to challenge and teach
advanced juniors. Players should have previous experience in
competitive match play and be proficient in all aspects of the game.
The program week will involve intense work on-court, plenty of match
play, off court physical training and will include a 1:1 on-court
lesson.
Due to the limited number of player spaces and high number of coaches,
each player has unrivaled access to quality advice on a continual
basis. Challenge matches between the coaches will take place throughout
the week to emphasize coaching points brought up in the sessions.
Fitness levels should be above average prior to the Elite program week
in order to ensure maximum benefit.
Off-court training with Jessica involves AM sessions exclusive to
squash-specific training, involving circuits and aerobic/anaerobic
testing. PM core and stretching sessions will focus on awareness of the
importance of core strength for the improvement of squash ability, and
stretching as a tool against injury. A consistent approach will be
followed in order to ensure the knowledge of correct posture during
each specific exercise, and to allow each individual to understand a
routine which can be replicated post–camp.
Coaches’ notes and a detailed stretching & core document will be given to each player upon completing a great week!
