Hardball Singles Hanging On, 12 Tournaments Announced from US Squash media September 19, 2016
2016-17 U.S. Squash Hardball Singles
This
year's 12 tournament Hardball Singles Squash season is underway in
Santa Fe, NM with the 2nd Annual Kiva Open. The list of this season's
events is given below and of note is the National Hardball
Championships which will be February 24-26 in NYC. An April tournament
has also been added for college players and to initiate the newly
renovated University of North Carolina Hardball Singles courts.
Several of the tournaments will be played on the wide courts with the Austral ball that has become increasingly popular.
US Squash encourages squash play of all types, on all available
courts. A Nationals Task force has been appointed by the US
Squash Board of Directors "to review the current criteria and standards
for national championships and divisions," including US Squash's
sanctioning of Hardball Singles National Championships.
The Hardball Singles community is self-supporting through contributions
that can be made to the US Squash Hardball Squash Singles Restricted
