Palmer, Lincou, Khalifa Headline Weekend PST Bobcat Classic from Tour Media
September 19, 2013
- Pro Squash Tour will return to Maine next week for its annual Bobcat
Classic. Headlining the tournament are David Palmer (Australia) and
Thierry Lincou (France). Palmer and Lincou are
veteran stars, who squash fans regularly travel to see. But meeting
them in Maine are three Egyptian rising stars who have the potential to
knock them off. Amr Abdel Khalek is a
local hero at Bates College and will be sure to be warmly treated by
the crowd. He is currently the #1 player on the Bates team. Amr Khaled Khalifa is college squash's reigning national champion. And Moustafa Bayoumy is a wild card making his PST debut. Ahmed Abdel Khalek Amr Khaled KhalifaMoustafa Bayoumy

"These are very
exciting and dynamic players," says PST Commissioner Joe McManus. Early
round action will be intense when the event kicks off Friday night. Not to be overlooked
is the big Australian Wade Johnstone, who reached the finals of the PST
World Championship in May. "Wade is tough. And when he's feeling right,
he can beat anyone," McManus continued.
Match play will begin Friday, September 27 at the Bates College Squash Center in Lewiston, Maine.
