- Third-seeded Peter Barker turned in a strong, workmanlike performance
in defeating Alister Walker in three, while second-seed Amr Shabana
withstood a late charge from Adrian Grant to win in four, as the 2014
PSA NetSuite Open semis are set in San Francisco.
It was Barker over Walker 11-5, 11-5 and 11-9 and Shabana over Grant 11-6, 11-3, 6-11, 11-9.
Monday's semifinal
action will feature World No 1 Greg Gaultier versus exciting Colombian
Miguel Rodriguez, with lefties Barker and Shabana squaring off in the
bottom half of the draw.
